VIDA Launches Campaign with Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor for VX2 Electric Scooter
Campaign teases launch of electric scooter scheduled for July 1, 2025.
VIDA, powered by Hero MotoCorp, unveiled a new campaign featuring Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor to promote the upcoming launch of its VIDA VX2 electric scooter. The campaign explores the generational debate between traditional scooters and electric mobility through the actors' onscreen chemistry.
The teaser film presents a family setting where the two actors engage in dialogue about transportation choices, with Anil Kapoor representing traditional dependability and Ranbir Kapoor advocating for electric vehicles. The campaign serves as a build-up to the official launch of the VIDA VX2 scheduled for July 1, 2025.
Creativeland Asia developed and executed the creative concept for the campaign. A spokesperson from the agency stated: "You don't build desire by talking specs. You build it by stirring culture. And when two generations collide, something new is born. This campaign is that moment."
The VIDA VX2 is positioned as a future-ready electric scooter designed for urban mobility with cutting-edge design and high performance features. The company describes the vehicle as part of VIDA's commitment to progressive innovation in the electric vehicle segment.
The current teaser marks the first in a series of three promotional films leading to the product launch. Hero MotoCorp plans to release two additional teasers before the July 1 reveal date.
The campaign film is available on YouTube and represents Hero MotoCorp's continued expansion into the electric vehicle market through its VIDA brand. The company has positioned the campaign to address cultural and generational perspectives on transportation technology adoption.
VIDA operates as Hero MotoCorp's electric mobility division, focusing on electric scooter development and urban transportation solutions.
