VECV reports 18.9% YoY jump in dispatches during April 2023
According to the company, sales of trucks and buses bearing the Eicher brand increased by 18.1% in April 2023 to 6399 units from 5416 units in April 2022.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, reported sales of 6,567 units in April 2023 as compared to 5,525 units in April 2023, recording a YoY growth of 18.9%. This includes 6,399 units of the Eicher brand and 168 units of the Volvo brand, the company said in a statement.
According to the company, sales of trucks and buses bearing the Eicher brand increased by 18.1% in April 2023 to 6399 units from 5416 units in April 2022. In the domestic CV market, sales of trucks and buses bearing the Eicher brand increased by 28.9% to 6142 units in April 2023 from 4766 units in April 2022.
Sales of Volvo trucks and Volvo buses reached 168 units in April 2023 as compared to 109 units in April 2022, a 54.1% increase.
