VE Commercial Vehicles May sales rise 11.6% (YoY) to 6,289 units

Total exports saw a fall of 46.9%, at 250 units from 471 units in the year ago period.

VE Commercial Vehicles reported total commercial vehicle sales of 6,289 units in May, registering an 11.6% increase on a yearly basis, as compared to 5,637 units in May 2022.

The total domestic sales increased by 15.8% on a yearly basis, to 5,826 units in May 2023, from 5033 units in May 2022. Total exports saw a fall of 46.9%, at 250 units from 471 units in the year ago period.

Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 213 units in May 2023 as compared to 133 units in May 2022, representing a growth of 60.2%. VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors.
