Varroc Appoints Akshaykumar Chudasama as Independent Director

Varroc, a global Tier-1 automotive supplier, has appointed Akshaykumar Chudasama as an Independent Director, effective May 29, 2025. The company aims to strengthen governance and enhance cross-border business expertise through this strategic move.  

Chudasama brings over three decades of legal expertise, holding degrees from St. Xavier’s College, University of Bombay, and the London School of Economics, UK. He is currently the Managing Partner at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., specializing in cross-border mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions.  

Chairman & Managing Director Tarang Jain welcomed Chudasama, stating, "We are delighted to welcome Akshaykumar Chudasama to our Board of Directors. His strategic perspective, legal acumen, and governance experience will be invaluable to Varroc’s strategic growth."

Chudasama expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, "I am honored and excited to join the Board of Varroc. I look forward to contributing to its journey of innovation, growth, and global expansion."

Varroc Engineering Ltd operates 37 manufacturing facilities and 7 R&D centers, employing over 6,100 people. The company reported Rs 81,718 million in revenue for FY25 and has filed over 120 patents.
