Valeo To Showcase AI, Software And EV Tech At Paris Show

Valeo will showcase technologies spanning artificial intelligence (AI), software-defined vehicles (SDVs), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), electrification and in-vehicle entertainment at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The event will take place from October 12 to 18, with Valeo exhibiting in Hall 5.3, booth 53A51.

The supplier said its display will focus on technologies aimed at reducing vehicle development timelines, improving safety and energy efficiency, and enabling new in-vehicle functions. Valeo CEO Christophe Périllat said the company is using AI and software to reduce development cycles to a few months.

The company will also demonstrate its software and automated-driving technologies, including the Valeo anSWer software platform suite, Smart Safety 360 and SCALA 3 LiDAR.

Valeo Showcases Software-Defined Vehicle Technologies

Valeo anSWer is a software platform suite comprising applications, scalable middleware and cloud-based digital twin validation for automakers.

The supplier will also display its Valeo Smart Safety 360 (VSS360) architecture. The 1-Box system is designed to support vehicle automation functions ranging from Level 1 and Level 2 ADAS to Level 2+ Highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA).

The Valeo SCALA 3 LiDAR is positioned for advanced Level 3 and Level 4 automated driving applications. Valeo says the system can support unsupervised driving at speeds of up to 130kph and detect obstacles beyond 200 metres.

The company will also demonstrate an updated Racer XR platform. It uses onboard sensors, multimodal AI and deep learning to enable an in-car gaming experience.

Valeo Displays 800V EV And Charging Technologies

Valeo's electrification display will include its Skateboard Power integrated 800V platform, a Single-Fluid Cooling System, 800V silicon-carbide (SiC) inverters and bidirectional AC chargers supporting vehicle-to-home (V2H) and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) applications.

According to Valeo, its Single-Fluid Cooling System enables a 0–80 percent battery charge in 12 minutes and can reduce battery carbon footprint by 50 percent. The display will also include the company's Compact 5-Way Refrigerant Valve and Cyclee 48V eBike system.

Valeo Highlights ADAS, Lighting And Remanufacturing

Safety-related technologies on display will include Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB), HD Pixel Lighting with up to 1.3 million pixels, 360-degree ground projections for vulnerable road users and AquaBlade wiping technology.

Valeo says AquaBlade can save 288 milliseconds of reaction time and four metres of stopping distance at 50kph. The company will also showcase its Panovision panoramic head-up display with integrated driver-monitoring hazard alerts.

The supplier will further highlight remanufactured ADAS cameras, headlamps and electronics, which it says are restored to an as-good-as-new condition. Valeo will also present its Tech Academy, which provides hands-on training for repair professionals through simulators.

Valeo's press conference at the Paris Motor Show is scheduled for October 12, with CEO Christophe Périllat. The company will also hold a keynote by Périllat on October 13 at the Dôme de Paris.
