Uno Minda Launches Car Care Product Line in Indian Aftermarket

Uno Minda Launches Car Care Product Line in Indian Aftermarket

Uno Minda Ltd., a Tier 1 supplier of automotive solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), has announced the launch of a new range of car care products for the Indian aftermarket. The company said the initiative comes in response to rising demand from vehicle owners for maintenance and cleaning solutions.

The new line covers both external and internal vehicle care. For exterior maintenance, the range includes Car Exterior Wash Shampoo, Waterless Wash, Car Exterior Polish, Glass Anti-Fog Spray, Windshield Cleaner Foam, and Windshield De-Mister. For interiors, the company has introduced Car AC Vent Hygiene Foam with silver nano technology, Anti-Bacterial Interior Foam, All-Purpose Shiner, Dashboard & Leather Shine, and Interior Shine Restorer. Prices range from ₹159 to ₹749.

Karna Markan, Head – Sales & Distribution (Accessories), Uno Minda Ltd., said the company’s entry into the auto care segment reflects its aim to align with changing consumer needs. He noted that products such as the Anti-Fog Demister and windshield foam cleaner are designed to improve driving safety by enhancing visibility, while wash and polish solutions target long-term paint durability.

According to Uno Minda, the products are formulated to remove dust, road debris, oily residues, and contaminants while maintaining the condition of vehicle surfaces. The full range will be available across leading online and offline retail outlets.

Uno Minda, established in 1958, supplies switches, horns, lighting systems, batteries, alloy wheels, seating, and accessories, among other components, to OEMs and the aftermarket. The company operates 72 manufacturing plants in India and has a distribution network of over 1,400 business partners, 40,000 retailers, and 70,000 service points across 600 districts. Internationally, it has a presence in Europe, the USA, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, ASEAN, and SAARC markets, with export offices in Dubai and Indonesia.
