Uno Minda Inaugurates New 4W Alloy Wheel Manufacturing Plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana

The new greenfield facility expands Uno Minda’s manufacturing capacity, supporting the “Make in India” initiative and strengthening its collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India Limited and the wider automotive ecosystem.

Uno Minda has inaugurated its new greenfield manufacturing facility for four-wheeler alloy wheels in Kharkhoda, Haryana. The plant marks a strategic addition to the company’s production network and aims to support the growing demand in the Indian automotive sector.

The inauguration was attended by Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), along with other senior representatives from MSIL. Their presence underlined the long-standing association between Uno Minda and Maruti Suzuki.

Uno Minda, formerly known as Minda Industries Limited, is a leading global manufacturer of proprietary automotive solutions and systems. Headquartered in India, the company operates under the umbrella of the NK Minda Group. It supplies a diverse range of automotive components to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in both domestic and international markets.

Uno Minda’s product portfolio spans across several categories including switches, lighting systems, acoustic systems, automotive seating, die casting, alloy wheels, blow molding components, infotainment systems, and sensors. The company caters to multiple vehicle segments such as two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles.
