Ultraviolette demonstrated its new artificial intelligence-powered voice assistant at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, marking the company's latest advancement in connected mobility technology.
The voice assistant, named Violette, allows F77 motorcycle riders to control various vehicle functions using voice commands. Riders activate the system by saying "Violette," after which they can change riding modes, start navigation, and access the user manual for information including tire pressure recommendations and service instructions.
The demonstration at CES 2026 showcased additional capabilities such as pre-ride vehicle checks, ride statistics, proactive maintenance alerts, and service notifications, all accessible through voice interaction.
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, stated that the company views artificial intelligence as central to improving rider safety. He described the integration as a step forward in human-machine interaction that allows riders to maintain focus on the road.
Niraj Rajmohan, CTO and Co-founder, explained that the technology aims to anticipate rider needs and simplify interactions with the motorcycle. He characterized Violette as part of a broader effort to create a more connected and intelligent riding experience.
The system will function through an audio-integrated helmet, which serves as the communication interface between the rider and motorcycle. This design is intended to provide access to information without requiring riders to look away from the road.
The announcement follows Ultraviolette's recent launch of the X-47 model, which includes radar technology as a standard safety feature. The Bengaluru-based company, founded in 2016, focuses on electric vehicle platforms and battery technology. Its investors include Lingotto, a subsidiary of Exor N.V., along with Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, TVS Motors, TDK Ventures, and Speciale Invest.
