Ultraviolette Automotive marked a significant milestone as it flagged off the first batch of its Made-in-India F77 MACH 2 electric motorcycles for export to the European Union (EU) market. The event was led by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, H.D. Kumaraswamy, and Karnataka's Minister of Industries and Commerce, Shri M.B. Patil, at Ultraviolette's manufacturing facility in Bengaluru.
Union Minister Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy emphasised that Ultraviolette’s entry into the European market represents a key moment for India's automotive industry, showcasing the country's capability to compete on a global level. He noted that this initiative aligns with the government's vision of positioning India as a significant player in the global electric vehicle (EV) sector.
M.B. Patil, Minister of Industries and Commerce for Karnataka, highlighted Bengaluru's role in the development of the electric vehicle industry in India. He acknowledged Ultraviolette as a strong contributor to the state's innovation ecosystem and stated that this export represents an important step in Karnataka’s journey toward sustainable growth and technological advancement.
Narayan Subramaniam, Co-founder and CEO of Ultraviolette, shared his thoughts on the company's expansion into the European market. He expressed that exporting the F77 MACH 2 is a step toward introducing Indian-developed electric vehicle technology to international markets.
Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, emphasised that the company's entry into Europe reflects its commitment to offering electric vehicles designed in India for global markets. He mentioned that Europe is a key region for electric mobility, and Ultraviolette aims to demonstrate the capabilities of Indian electric vehicles through the F77 MACH 2.
Ultraviolette, leveraging its technological and manufacturing expertise, aims to establish a presence in the global electric vehicle market with the F77 MACH 2, designed and manufactured at its facility in Bengaluru to meet international standards.
