Ultraviolette Automotive has inaugurated its 40th experience centre in India, located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, marking an expansion of its retail and service footprint in emerging electric mobility markets.

The facility, branded as a UV Space Station, was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari. With this addition, the company now has a presence across 35 cities nationwide.

The Nagpur centre will offer sales, service and customer engagement under one roof. It includes test ride facilities, service support and access to genuine spare parts. The company has partnered with Quantum Surge Motors LLP to operate the 3S (sales, service and spares) facility.

The new outlet will retail Ultraviolette’s electric motorcycles, including the X-47 Crossover and the F77s. These models are positioned in the performance electric motorcycle segment and feature a powertrain rated at 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of torque. The motorcycles are equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack, with a claimed IDC range of 323 km.

The X-47 Crossover includes radar-based rider assistance features, supported by a 77 GHz rear radar system. Safety functions include blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alerts and rear collision warnings. The motorcycle also features a 5-inch TFT display, multiple ride modes and an integrated dashcam system.

The company recently introduced a battery subscription model under its ‘Battery Flex’ (BaaS) platform. Under this structure, customers can purchase the motorcycle chassis separately, with battery usage available via a monthly subscription starting at ₹2,499. The X-47 is priced from ₹1.49 lakh under this model.

Founded in 2016 by Narayan Subramaniam and Niraj Rajmohan, Ultraviolette focuses on electric vehicle platforms and battery technology. The company is backed by investors including Lingotto, TDK Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Zoho Corporation, TVS Motor Company and Speciale Invest.

Ultraviolette has also expanded its international presence, exporting motorcycles to multiple European markets.
