udChalo launches electric bicycle Vir Bike at Rs 25,995 for armed forces and Rs 27,995 for rest of India

The Vir Bike espouses Make in India initiative and can withstand harsh weather conditions.

udChalo, a Pune-based consumer technology company for the armed forces, has launched Made in India electric bicycle Vir Bike, to celebrate Earth Day (22 April). 

The company has introduced this eco-friendly vehicle to offer sustainable and affordable transportation options for all Indians inspired by the armed forces. Besides indicating the courage and bravery of the armed forces, the name VIR is inspired by  V=IR which is Ohm's law in physics, which denotes the relationship between “voltage, current and resistance” in an electrical circuit. 

Sahil Uttekar, Co-founder and R&D Head, Vir Bike said that the bike is not only eco-friendly but can also withstand harsh weather conditions. “It is Ip rated 65 and 67. With a durable lightweight frame, disc brake with electric cut-off, and an adjustable seat", adding that all parts are built in India in line with the Prime Minister’s Make In India initiative.”
