Uber India and South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh has resigned from his position after spending nearly 11 years with the ride-hailing organization. His departure marks the conclusion of a significant leadership tenure in one of the platform’s primary international territories. In an official statement acknowledging the exit, Uber expressed gratitude for Singh's long-term contributions and operational oversight, reaffirming that the Indian market continues to be a crucial focal point for its global business strategy.

Singh originally joined the shared-mobility company over a decade ago and was promoted to regional president in 2020, a role that placed him in charge of corporate strategy across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. During his executive stint, he managed the brand's local operations through a phase of market broadening and structural adjustments. This included guiding the company's deeper entry into multiple transportation categories and growing its market share within competitive metropolitan areas. Uber has not yet named a immediate successor for the regional leadership position.
