This program is designed to offer early-career opportunities to women, individuals with disabilities, and other underrepresented students, allowing them to intern with Uber's engineering teams and gain valuable insights and experience in the technology industry.
Originally focusing on promoting women in engineering, the She++ initiative has broadened its scope to embrace a wider diversity ambit. This year, the initiative attracted over 4,000 applications from prestigious engineering colleges throughout India, showcasing a growing interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. The event, held on March 7 at Uber's Bangalore Campus, offered students a unique opportunity to interact with Uber's leadership and HR professionals.
