TVS SCS North America Expands U.S. Operations, Targets $500 Million Revenue

TVS SCS North America opened a 225,000 sq. ft. facility in Waterloo, Iowa, to support local manufacturing with services including assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), a global supply chain management company, has announced plans for its North American subsidiary, TVS SCS North America, to reach $500 million in revenue. The company has maintained a 20% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past four years and aims to continue its growth in the region.

As part of this expansion, TVS SCS North America inaugurated a 225,000-square-foot facility in Waterloo, Iowa. The facility will support local manufacturing and supply chain operations, offering services such as value-added assembly, kitting, sequencing, and just-in-time delivery. The facility includes 6,800 square feet of office space, a driver’s lounge, 30 loading dock doors, and two drive-in doors.

Ravi Viswanathan, Managing Director of TVS Supply Chain Solutions, said, “With 95% of its capacity already committed, this facility reflects the demand for our services in the U.S. Equipped with automation and robotics, it is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce lead times, and provide reliable service to our clients.”

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart, who highlighted the facility’s role in supporting Iowa’s manufacturing and distribution capabilities.

Richard Vieites, CEO of TVS SCS North America and Europe, said the company plans to expand further in strategic locations, enhance technological capabilities, and strengthen partnerships to support supply chain operations. TVS SCS is currently constructing another 225,000-square-foot facility in the region, expected to start operations next quarter. The company’s first facility in Iowa is located in Iowa City.
