TVS Raider Gets Traction Control System, Emergency Brake Warning in New Variants

TVS Motor Company has introduced new safety and convenience features on the TVS Raider TFT DD and TVS Raider SXC DD variants, including a Traction Control System (TCS), Emergency Brake Warning, a wider rear tyre and a 27W USB Type-C fast charger.

According to the company, the Traction Control System is a first in the 125cc motorcycle segment. The system is designed to help riders maintain control when the rear wheel loses traction on surfaces such as wet roads, loose gravel and potholes.

The Emergency Brake Warning feature alerts following traffic when the rider brakes suddenly, helping improve awareness and potentially reduce the risk of rear-end collisions. The addition of a wider rear tyre is intended to improve grip and stability.

The updated variants also feature a 27W USB Type-C fast charger for charging compatible devices on the go.

TVS Raider Features: iGO Assist, Boost Mode and Glide Through Technology

The new features build on the Raider's existing equipment, which includes a three-valve engine, iGO Assist with Boost Mode and Glide Through Technology (GTT). The motorcycle also offers TFT connectivity with more than 99 smart features, according to TVS Motor Company.

The iGO Assist system with Boost Mode is designed to provide additional acceleration, while GTT supports low-speed riding and manoeuvring. The TFT connectivity features provide access to connected functions and rider information.

TVS Raider TFT DD and SXC DD Price (Ex-Showroom, Delhi)

The new TVS Raider TFT DD is priced at ₹1,03,170, while the Raider SXC DD costs ₹1,00,330. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
