TVS Motor Launches Updated Raider Starting at ₹93,800 with Segment-First Features

TVS Motor Company has launched an updated version of its Raider motorcycle, incorporating several segment-first features aimed at young riders seeking performance and safety enhancements.

TVS Motor Company has priced the new Raider at ₹95,600 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the TFT dual disc variant and ₹93,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the SXC dual disc version. The motorcycle will be available at TVS dealerships across India starting this month.

The new TVS Raider introduces boost mode powered by iGO Assist technology, delivering 11.75 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The motorcycle becomes the first in India's 125cc segment to offer dual disc brakes with single-channel ABS, addressing safety concerns for urban riders.

Another notable addition is Glide Through Technology (GTT), designed to improve low-speed maneuverability in congested traffic conditions while optimizing fuel efficiency. The feature joins the motorcycle's existing suite of connectivity options through the TVS SmartXonnect platform, which includes Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, and turn-by-turn navigation.

The updated model features a revised tire configuration with 90/90-17 front and 110/80-17 rear specifications, aimed at improving grip and handling characteristics. A follow-me headlamp function has been added, keeping the headlight illuminated briefly after the ignition is switched off.

The motorcycle is powered by a three-valve 125cc engine and offers riders a choice between two display configurations: a TFT screen with over 99 features or a reverse LCD display with more than 85 features. Design updates include a metallic silver finish with red alloy wheels.

The Raider has attracted over one million customers since its introduction four years ago, according to the company. TVS Motor operates manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia and sells products in 80 countries globally.
