TVS Motor Unveils AR Helmet Technology and Racing Academy at MotoSoul 5.0

The automaker demonstrated advanced rider safety equipment, launched an off-road training program, and announced a partnership with MT Helmets during the second day of its annual motorcycle festival in Goa.

TVS Motor Unveils AR Helmet Technology and Racing Academy at MotoSoul 5.0

TVS Motor Company presented several rider-focused initiatives on the second day of its MotoSoul 5.0 festival, including the showcase of an augmented reality helmet system and the launch of a new training academy.

The company demonstrated the Aegis Rider Vision Helmet, which incorporates AR-enabled heads-up display technology. The helmet projects navigation information, speed data, and safety alerts into the rider's field of vision through a binocular µOLED system. The device includes a 7,000mAh battery, wireless connectivity, and an integrated action camera. Its carbon fiber shell, developed with Nexx Helmets, meets ECE 22.06 and CE safety certifications.

TVS Motor also announced the opening of the TVS Racing Offroad Training Academy, a program led by racing champions and international instructors. The academy focuses on foundational off-road riding techniques, including terrain navigation, bike handling, and obstacle management, targeting riders with limited adventure riding experience.

A partnership between TVS Racing and MT Helmets was revealed, which will bring ECE-certified helmets to the Indian market starting at INR 5,999. MT Helmets is recognized for safety engineering and premium helmet manufacturing.

Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business for Premium segments at TVS Motor Company, stated that MotoSoul aims to create a platform reflecting the future of motorcycling through innovation and rider-centric experiences.

As part of its Ride for Change initiative, TVS Motor distributed 100 helmets to students at St. Michael's Convent High School in Vagator to promote road safety awareness.

The day's activities included FMX stunt demonstrations, Gymkhana challenges, dirt track competitions, and adventure zones. Evening entertainment featured performances by DJ Nucleya and the band Lagori.

TVS Motor Company operates manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia and distributes products across 80 countries. The company holds the Deming Prize and has received recognition in J.D. Power quality surveys.
