TVS Motor Company (TVSM) reinforced its commitment to experiential tourism at the Rann Utsav festival in Gujarat, staging an expanded motorcycling showcase that drew participants from cities across India as well as international riders from Italy and Mexico.
The two-day event featured community rides across the white salt plains, a curated display of performance motorcycles, and a series of motorsports experiences. The initiative, now in its second year, aims to position the Rann of Kutch as a global motorcycling destination.
Community Rides and West Chapter Debut
The first-ever West Chapter ride of the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and TVS Ronin CuLT community — representing Culture, Lifestyle, and Travel — brought together more than 100 participants from Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad for a long-distance ride through highways, rural roads, and the salt desert terrain.
Rann Utsav Custom Series
Central to the display was the TVS Rann Utsav Custom Series — five bespoke motorcycles designed as cultural interpretations of the Rann's landscape. Four models — the TVS Ronin, TVS Apache RTR 200, TVS Apache RTR 310, and TVS Apache RR 310 — were developed in collaboration with Eimor Customs under the theme "A Symphony of Salt and Sky," featuring hand-painted designs and laser-cut stainless-steel badges.
A fifth motorcycle, a specially modified TVS Ronin themed around "Unscripted Exploration," incorporated Ajrak-inspired leather accessories, dual-purpose tyres, and a Sky Blue to Salt White gradient finish referencing the desert at dawn.
Motorsports and Performance Activations
The TVS Premium Arena offered visitors stunt showcases, flat track training, FMX displays, adventure riding experiences, and an exclusive Women's Drift-R Championship — all designed to highlight the performance capabilities of TVS's motorcycle lineup.
Gujarat's Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Harsh Sanghavi, noted that the growing rider participation demonstrated how the festival was expanding the Rann of Kutch's appeal beyond conventional tourism. Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company, described the initiative as aligned with a broader vision of promoting India's destinations on the global tourism map.
TVS Motor Company operates across 80 countries and holds the distinction of being the only two-wheeler manufacturer to have received the Deming Prize. Its group portfolio includes Norton Motorcycles in the United Kingdom and TVS Ebike Company AG in Switzerland.
