TVS Motor Refreshes Apache and Ronin Motorcycle Ranges Ahead of Festive Season

Company adds new variants, safety features and a "Black Diamond" special edition across its premium two-wheeler line-up, with prices starting at ₹1.28 lakh.

TVS Motor Company has rolled out a round of updates to its Apache and Ronin motorcycle ranges in India, timed to the festive season, the company announced on Wednesday.

The updates span the TVS Apache RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V, RR 310 and RTR 310, as well as the TVS Ronin. Apache accounts for over 7 million riders across 90 countries, according to the company, while Ronin has a customer base of more than 200,000.

The entry-level Apache RTR 160 now comes with a traction control system, hazard lamps and LED tail-stop lamps, priced from ₹127,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). The RTR 160 4V adds a TFT display with Google Map mirroring, a panic brake alert and a USB Type-C charging port, starting at ₹141,440. The RTR 200 4V receives the same connectivity features along with a front adjustable upside-down (USD) suspension, priced from ₹149,990.

The flagship RR 310 and RTR 310 get a new "Black Diamond Edition," featuring an all-black colour scheme, at ₹287,790 and ₹248,990 respectively. Keyless ride technology, previously exclusive to the RTR 310, has now been extended to the RR 310. Both motorcycles retain features such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control, launch control, cruise control and drag torque control.

The Ronin range gains a new base variant with dual-channel ABS, priced at ₹142,490. The Mid variant is updated with a connected instrument cluster and Type-C charger (₹151,540), while the Top variant adds a traction control system and premium seat (₹163,640).

Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business – Premium at TVS Motor Company, said the updates were intended to strengthen the company's premium motorcycle portfolio during the festive period.

The updated Apache and Ronin models went on sale at TVS dealerships across India from Wednesday.
