TVS Motor Launches Updated Apache RTR 200 4V Motorcycle for 2025

TVS Motor Launches Updated Apache RTR 200 4V Motorcycle for 2025

TVS Motor Company unveiled the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V motorcycle on June 9, 2025, introducing several technical upgrades to mark two decades of the Apache brand. The updated model is priced at INR 1,53,990 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available at TVS dealerships across India.

The 2025 model incorporates OBD2B compliance along with a new 37mm Upside Down front suspension system and a hydroformed handlebar design. The motorcycle features updated aesthetics including red alloy wheels and revised graphics, available in three color options: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.

The Apache RTR 200 4V generates 20.8 PS of peak power at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. The motorcycle includes dual-channel ABS, three ride modes (Urban, Sport, and Rain), a slipper clutch, adjustable clutch and brake levers, TVS SmartXonnect connectivity with Bluetooth and voice assistance, and a digital instrument cluster with LED headlamps and daytime running lights.

First launched in 2016, the Apache RTR 200 4V introduced design changes and became the first motorcycle in its segment to offer multiple ride modes. The model later received dual-channel ABS with rear lift-off protection and LED lighting systems with signature daytime running lights.

Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company, stated that the Apache brand has built a community of over six million riders globally over two decades. He noted that the 2025 model continues the brand's focus on performance and technology for motorcycle enthusiasts.

The Apache series has reached six million units sold worldwide, with the company reporting accelerated growth in recent sales milestones. The brand's expansion reflects increased demand in the performance motorcycle segment.

TVS Motor Company operates manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia and distributes products across 80 countries. The company has received the Deming Prize and ranks in J.D. Power customer satisfaction surveys. TVS also owns Norton Motorcycles in the United Kingdom and subsidiaries in the electric mobility sector in Switzerland.
