TVS Motor Company launched two products in Egypt on February 7, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the North African market through its authorized distributor Ezz LCV.
The company introduced the TVS Ronin Top motorcycle and the TVS Ntorq Race Edition scooter at an event attended by dealers, influencers, company representatives, and key stakeholders in Cairo. The launch represents part of TVS Motor Company's strategy to deepen its footprint in Egypt as it continues to expand its global portfolio.
The Ronin Top is available in two colors: Nimbus Grey and Midnight Blue. The motorcycle features a modern-retro design philosophy combined with engineering focused on performance and versatility. The model is positioned in the premium mobility segment.
The Ntorq Race Edition, available in Marine Blue and Red, targets the performance scooter category. The model is designed for urban riders and includes features aimed at providing responsive acceleration and connectivity options.
Rahul Nayak, Senior Vice President of International Business at TVS Motor Company, emphasized Egypt's importance to the manufacturer's operations. "Egypt is a key market for us and by launching TVS Ronin Top and TVS Ntorq Race Edition here, clearly reflects our commitment to our continued focus on delivering well-engineered products," he said.
Nayak noted that the new products aim to provide competitive performance and features that align with local rider preferences. He highlighted the company's six-year partnership with Ezz LCV as playing a central role in expanding TVS's presence and delivering mobility solutions to Egyptian customers.
Amr Ezzelarab of Ezz LCV said the distributor's collaboration with TVS Motor Company has enabled the provision of products, after-sales support, and dealer network infrastructure for motorcycle users across Egypt. He indicated the new models would address growing demand for premium and performance-oriented two-wheelers in the Egyptian market.
Ezz LCV recently established an assembly line in Giza to boost local manufacturing capabilities and support the growing demand for TVS products in Egypt. The facility is designed to improve delivery timelines and support the distributor's dealer network while offering products adapted to local preferences.
The distributor currently handles several TVS models in Egypt, including the Apache RTR 200 4V, Apache RTR 160 4V, HLX Series, XL100, and existing versions of the Ronin and Ntorq.
TVS Motor Company operates four manufacturing facilities across India and Indonesia and distributes products in more than 90 countries. The company is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange under scrip code 532343 and the National Stock Exchange of India under the symbol TVSMOTOR.
The manufacturer has received the Deming Prize and ranks first in J.D. Power Customer Service Satisfaction Survey categories. TVS products have also led their respective categories in J.D. Power Initial Quality Study and Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout surveys.
