TVS Motor enters electric 3W space with King EV Max at Rs 2.95 lakh
TVS Motor Company unveils the King EV MAX, India’s first electric three-wheeler with Bluetooth connectivity, blending innovative technology with sustainable urban transport.
TVS Motor Company has introduced the TVS King EV MAX, India’s first Bluetooth-connected electric three-wheeler, aimed at enhancing urban mobility with sustainable technology. The vehicle is equipped with TVS SmartXonnect, offering real-time navigation, alerts, and vehicle diagnostics through smartphone integration.
The TVS King EV MAX has a certified range of 179 kilometers on a single charge and supports quick charging, achieving 80% charge in 2 hours and 15 minutes and a full charge in 3.5 hours. It features a 51.2V lithium-ion LFP battery and offers three driving modes: Eco, City, and Power, with a maximum speed of 60 km/h. The vehicle's ergonomic design includes a spacious cabin, emphasizing passenger comfort for urban commuting.
According to Rajat Gupta, Business Head of Commercial Mobility at TVS Motor Company, the vehicle aligns with the company's commitment to clean mobility solutions, addressing the growing need for sustainable last-mile connectivity. The King EV MAX targets fleet operators and individual drivers, promising high uptime and operational efficiency.
The vehicle is initially available in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, and West Bengal, priced at ₹2,95,000 (ex-showroom). A nationwide rollout is planned in the coming months. Additional features include LED headlamps, a gradability of 31%, and water-wading capabilities of up to 500 mm.
The launch underscores TVS Motor Company’s efforts to expand its portfolio of electric vehicles and cater to the rising demand for environmentally friendly transportation in urban areas. The vehicle comes with a six-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty and three years of free maintenance, enhancing its appeal to buyers.
