TVS Motor Company launched an upgraded version of its popular Apache RTR 160 4V motorcycle, featuring enhanced performance capabilities. The latest iteration of the sports motorcycle, priced at Rs 1,39,990 (ex-showroom New Delhi), introduces segment-first ride modes and advanced suspension systems.

The new Apache RTR 160 4V has a 159.7cc, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, 4-valve engine that delivers 17.55 PS of power at 9,250 rpm and 14.73 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. A standout feature is the inclusion of a 37mm Upside Down (USD) suspension system, making it the first in its segment to offer this technology.

Additonally, the motorcycle introduces three distinct ride modes - Sport, Urban, and Rain, allowing riders to adapt to various road conditions. The integration of TVS SmartXonnect technology enables Bluetooth connectivity, offering features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and voice assist functionality.

The new model will be offered in three colours– Granite Grey, Matte Black, and Pearl White. The design is enhanced by sporty, race-inspired graphics, golden-finish USD forks, and striking red alloy wheels. Additional features include LED headlamps and taillamps, and a distinctive Bullpup exhaust system.

For riders seeking a blend of performance and technology in the mid-capacity segment, the new Apache RTR 160 4V offers features like Glide Through Technology (GTT) for smooth urban riding and adjustable brake and clutch levers for enhanced comfort. The dual-channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) further emphasises the manufacturer's focus on safety alongside performance.

Vimal Sumbly, Head of Business - Premium at TVS Motor Company, said, "(W)e are excited to announce the upgrade of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V with cutting-edge features and advanced technology.
