TSF Group showcases its diverse automotive expertise in braking systems, wheels, and turbochargers, reinforcing its commitment to the "Make in India" initiative
The TSF Group, a prominent player in the automotive components sector, highlighted its commitment to the “Make in India” initiative at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Brakes India, Wheels India Limited, and Turbo Energy, all part of the TSF Group, presented their latest advancements in braking systems, wheels, and turbochargers, showcasing their expertise in domestic manufacturing and global market expansion.
Brakes India, with over six decades of experience, demonstrated its in-house developed products for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway applications. As a Tier-1 supplier to leading OEMs worldwide, the company emphasized its focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. The company’s product range includes conventional braking systems, air actuation systems, iron castings, and a comprehensive aftermarket portfolio.
Speaking at the event, Sriram Viji, Managing Director of Brakes India, reiterated the company's global vision while emphasizing its commitment to the Indian market. He highlighted Brakes India's focus on innovation and product enhancement, with the aim to meet international standards. The company’s Opposed Piston Caliper, designed for high-performance vehicles, was one of the key attractions, aligning with the global trend of increasing demand for electric vehicles.
In the commercial vehicle segment, Brakes India also presented its new air actuation range, designed to cater to a broader customer base. Mr. D Sridharan, President of Brakes India’s Heavy Vehicles Business Unit, discussed the company's advancements in electronic controlled retarders, e-Park systems, and hydraulic hill start assist, all designed to enhance safety and efficiency in commercial vehicles.
Wheels India Limited, another key TSF Group company, showcased its 60+ years of experience in manufacturing wheels for various segments, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway applications. The company unveiled new products designed for the bus and tipper segments, as well as cast alloy wheels for mid-SUVs. Srivats Ram, Managing Director of Wheels India, emphasized the company's commitment to meeting customer expectations with high-performance products that ensure reliability and longevity.
Turbo Energy, also part of the TSF Group, exhibited its range of turbochargers, developed at its R&D center in Chennai, with technical support from BorgWarner Turbo Systems, Germany. The company highlighted its market leadership in turbocharging solutions, with a strong presence in clean mobility applications, including CNG, LNG, hybrid, and fuel cell electric vehicles. Ananth Ramanujam, Executive Vice Chairman of Turbo Energy, spoke about the company’s customer-centric approach, which has helped it maintain a competitive edge in the market.
