Triumph Motorcycles, in partnership with Bajaj Auto, on April 6 launched the Tracker 400 in India at ₹2,46,225 (ex-showroom Delhi) — a flat track-inspired motorcycle powered by a TR-Series 350cc engine producing 40PS at 8,750rpm, adding a sixth model to the brand's India lineup.

The Tracker 400 draws its design from oval dirt track racing. It features flat, wide handlebars, repositioned footpegs, a boxy fuel tank, seat cowl, fly screen, number board, and dual-spoke wheels shod with MRF REVZ FD1 tyres. The motorcycle is offered in three colours — Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss.

On the hardware side, the Tracker 400 runs a dedicated chassis with 43mm upside-down big piston forks at the front offering 140mm of travel, and a rear gas monoshock RSU with 140mm travel and preload adjustment. Braking is handled by four-piston radial calipers. Electronics include switchable traction control, ABS, and a torque-assist clutch. Instrumentation consists of a single-dial analogue speedometer paired with a digital tachometer. Seat height is 805mm.

Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto, said: "The Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and the Thruxton have seen strong acceptance, expanding Triumph's appeal to younger riders. Building on this momentum, the Tracker 400 introduces greater choice. With its stripped-back flat track attitude, it delivers more fun, more style, and a distinctly sportier ride."

Triumph entered India in 2023 in partnership with Bajaj Auto. The brand's India range is now distributed through over 230 stores across more than 200 towns nationwide.
