Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition Launched

Toyota has introduced a limited-edition styling package for select Urban Cruiser Hyryder variants, adding black exterior elements at an additional cost of Rs 31,999.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition Launched

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition in India. The limited-edition styling package is available on the Midnight Black G and V grades with Neo Drive and strong hybrid powertrains.

Priced at Rs 31,999, the Aero Black Edition package adds black-themed exterior elements, including a front grille upper garnish, front spoiler, headlamp garnish, tailgate garnish and rear spoiler. The SUV also gets an exclusive ‘Aero Black’ limited-edition badge.

The styling package is available for a limited period, subject to stocks. Customers can also opt for Toyota’s dealer-level ‘All Black Package’ at an additional cost.

Commenting on the launch, Sabari Manohar, executive vice president, Sales–Service–Used Car Business & Profit Enhancement, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “With the launch of the Aero Black Edition, we are excited to introduce a more expressive and youthful design identity that resonates with evolving customer aspirations.”

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is offered with two powertrain options: a self-charging strong hybrid electric system and the Neo Drive. The strong hybrid version uses an e-drive transmission and is claimed to deliver a fuel efficiency of 27.97kpl.

The Neo Drive range uses a 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission options, along with 2WD and 4WD configurations.

The Hyryder is also equipped with features such as twin LED DRLs, a Crystal Acrylic Grille, 17-inch alloy wheels, ventilated leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and a 360-degree camera.

Since its launch in 2022, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has crossed the 2 lakh-unit sales milestone in India, according to TKM.
