Toyota Technical Training Institute invites applications for 2024-2025 programs

Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) has opened admissions for its TTTI Regular Program and Toyota Kaushalya Program for the academic year 2024-2025. These initiatives aim to provide free training to academically inclined students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in Karnataka, empowering them to pursue successful careers as skilled technicians.

The TTTI Regular Program offers a comprehensive three-year residential course focused on skill, knowledge, and attitude development. Additionally, the recently introduced Toyota Kaushalya Program offers a two-year residential course designed to equip youth with essential skills for the manufacturing industry, enhancing their employability.

Under a 'Learn and Earn' model, participants engage in theoretical learning alongside On-the-Job Training (OJT) guided by seasoned supervisors serving as Master Trainers. This approach ensures high-quality training aligned with industrial standards, fostering expertise crucial for success in the field.

G. Shankara, Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, shared “As we open the doors for admissions to the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) for the year 2024, we reaffirm our commitment to transforming rural youth into world-class competitive technicians and ‘Producing Mass Happiness for All’. Through our TTTI Regular Program and the Toyota Kaushalya Program, we focus on developing their knowledge, skill, and attitude, thereby nurturing them from a 360-degree perspective. As a result, our graduates have fared well within India as well internationally including Japan and Middle East countries. Since its inception in 2007, TTTI has successfully graduated more than 900 students. We are proud that TTTI graduates have achieved commendable feats at prestigious competitions such as the National Skill Contest and World Skills Contest, thereby bringing pride to the nation. We are proud to contribute to the “Skill India” Mission and look forward to welcoming the next generation of skilled professionals into the Toyota family.”

With an increased intake of up to 1200 students, including 600 female students, TTTI emphasises gender diversity as a key aspect of its expansion efforts. Moreover, TTTI's selection as one of the institutes under the Japan India Institute for Manufacturing (JIM) skill transfer promotion program further demonstrates its commitment to contributing to the 'Skill India' Mission.
