Toyota Kirloskar Motor participants won nine medals at the IndiaSkills National Competition 2025-26, including five gold, three silver, and one bronze. The medals were spread across seven skill categories, with competitions held in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
Fourteen TKM team members competed at the national level after progressing through district, zonal, state, and regional rounds of the IndiaSkills competition, which is a platform for vocational skills in India.
In Mechatronics, Deepu M S and Jayanth K won gold, while Ganesh P B and Punith Kumar won silver. In Robotic System Integration, Shashank S and Abhishek S S won gold, and Chirag G and Vinay M H won silver. In Additive Manufacturing, Pavan B S won gold and Harshith K B won silver.
Tejas B S won gold in Auto Body Repair. Punith P won gold in Mechanical Engineering CAD. Praveen Y H won a bronze medal in Welding.
The medal winners will enter the final selection process for the WorldSkills Competition 2026, scheduled for September 22–27, 2026, in Shanghai, China. WorldSkills is an international competition covering more than 65 skills, with participants from over 60 countries.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan (89%) and Kirloskar Systems Limited of India (11%). The company operates two manufacturing plants in Bidadi, Karnataka, with a combined installed production capacity of up to 342,000 units annually. Its product lineup includes the Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Camry Hybrid, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Hilux.
