Toyota Kirloskar Motor Unveils 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition with Enhanced Styling
Toyota launches 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition with bolder styling, dual-tone interiors, and enhanced features, building on the success of its predecessor.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition, featuring updated design elements and premium enhancements aimed at SUV enthusiasts seeking a sportier aesthetic.
The new edition follows the 2024 Leader Edition and introduces several styling updates to the popular SUV. Notable exterior changes include a redesigned grille, front and rear bumper spoilers with chrome garnish, a dual-tone black roof, glossy black alloy wheels, and a distinctive hood emblem. The vehicle is available in four color options: Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver.
Interior upgrades feature black and maroon dual-tone seats and door trims, auto-folding mirrors, illuminated scuff plates, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) for enhanced safety monitoring.
Mr. Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, commented on the launch: "We are grateful for the strong acceptance and overwhelming response to the 2024 Fortuner Leader Edition. Encouraged by this trust, we are delighted to introduce the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition, an offering for those seeking a sportier, more dynamic SUV."
The 2025 Leader Edition is powered by Toyota's 1GD-FTV 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger, producing 201 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission in a rear-wheel drive (4x2) configuration.
TKM is offering various financing options, including funding plans of up to eight years, Toyota Smart Balloon Finance, and pre-approved packages for extended warranties and accessories. The vehicle comes with a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty, extendable to 5 years/220,000 km, along with five years of complimentary roadside assistance.
The Fortuner, which debuted in India 15 years ago, has sold over 300,000 units in the country. Bookings for the 2025 Leader Edition will open in the second week of October 2025 through the company's website or authorized dealerships. Pricing information is available at dealerships.
