Toyota Kirloskar Motor Opens Parts Centre in Vizag
The automotive manufacturer has established a new distribution facility in Visakhapatnam to serve dealers across Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, promising 24-hour parts delivery under its TSaath initiative while housing regional operations.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor inaugurated a new genuine parts distribution centre in Visakhapatnam today, expanding its regional service network across eastern India.
The facility was opened by Wiseline Sigamani, Vice President of Strategic Business Unit at TKM, and Takeshi Goto, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business Enabling, alongside senior management and dealer representatives.
The centre will distribute genuine Toyota parts to dealers, Pro Service outlets, and parts distributors across Central and North Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Southern Odisha. Under the company's TSaath initiative, the facility aims to deliver parts within 24 hours to enable faster service turnaround times.
The premises will also function as a regional area office for field teams operating in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, consolidating operations at a single location.
Sigamani stated that the facility represents a significant step in improving parts availability and service reliability across the region. The company expects the centre to help dealer partners maintain optimized inventory levels and provide more consistent service quality.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor currently operates over 1,345 customer touchpoints across India, including dealerships and service centres. The company manufactures vehicles at two plants in Bidadi, Karnataka, with a combined production capacity of up to 342,000 units annually.
The Visakhapatnam facility marks TKM's continued investment in distribution infrastructure to support its expanding presence in Indian automotive markets.
