Tillmann Olsen, a Bosch Group veteran with over two decades of international experience spanning China, France, Africa, and Germany, will assume the Chief Financial Officer position at Bosch Limited effective June 1, 2026.
Bosch Limited, the Indian subsidiary of the German engineering giant, disclosed a significant leadership change at its Board of Directors meeting on February 17, 2026, announcing the departure of its current Chief Financial Officer and the appointment of her successor.
The company revealed that Karin Gilges, who has served as CFO since May 1, 2022, tendered her resignation on February 10, 2026, citing her appointment to a global role within the Bosch Group based outside India. Her resignation takes effect at the close of business hours on May 31, 2026. In her resignation letter, Gilges confirmed that her decision was not due to any disagreement with the company, its Board, or management, pledging full cooperation during the handover period.
Stepping into the role is Tillmann Olsen, whose appointment was approved by the Board following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Olsen brings an extensive track record within the Bosch Rexroth division, having most recently served as Executive Vice President and Leader of the Business Unit Mobile Components at Bosch Rexroth AG in Germany since January 2022, overseeing a global workforce of more than 1,500 associates and revenues exceeding 400 million euros.
His career within the Bosch Group spans more than two decades, including roles as Regional President for Bosch Rexroth Africa, CEO of the Bosch Rexroth South Africa Group of Companies, and CFO of Bosch Rexroth's French operations. Earlier in his career, Olsen served as Purchasing Director for Bosch Rexroth China and held various controlling and M&A roles at the group level.
