Tesla Opens First In-Mall Supercharger Station in Navi Mumbai at Nexus Seawoods
Tesla has inaugurated its first in-mall charging station at Nexus Seawoods, Navi Mumbai, expanding its India Supercharger network to five locations with 20 fast chargers.
Tesla launched its newest Supercharging station at Nexus Seawoods mall in Navi Mumbai on April 6, 2026, marking the company's first charging facility inside a shopping mall in India. The station is located in the B1 parking area and adds eight new chargers to Tesla's growing national network.
The site features four V4 Superchargers capable of DC fast charging at peak speeds of 250 kW, alongside four Destination Chargers offering AC charging at 11 kW. According to Tesla, a Model Y can gain up to 275 km of range in just 15 minutes using the Superchargers — sufficient for a round trip between Navi Mumbai and Pune.
With this addition, Tesla now operates five charging stations across India, comprising 20 Superchargers and 14 Destination Chargers, spread across Gurugram, Delhi, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai.
Alongside the charging station, Tesla has set up a pop-up store in the mall's main atrium, offering visitors guided vehicle walkarounds, test drives, and interactive product experiences covering Tesla's technology, safety features, and performance.
The Tesla app allows owners to manage the entire charging experience — from navigation and battery preconditioning to payment — within a single platform. The company states its Supercharger network maintains an uptime of 99.95%.
The Model Y is currently priced in India starting at ₹59,89,000, with home charging support included as part of the ownership package.
