The Nexon iCNG concept is based on the recently facelifted Nexon SUV and is near-identical to the petrol/diesel-powered Nexon in terms of styling and equipment; there are CNG-related mechanical and cosmetic changes though. Once launched, the Nexon will be the only vehicle in India to offer this extensive a list of powertrains, including petrol, diesel, CNG, EV, manual, AMT and DCT options.

Harrier EV, Curvv, Altroz Racer concepts to be on display

Apart from the Nexon iCNG, which seems to be the only “new” product at the event, Tata Motors will also bring the Harrier EV, the Curvv concept SUV and the Altroz Racer concept. The Curvv SUV will go on sale later this year and the Altroz is also expected to get a facelift with some features seen on the Racer concept. The Harrier EV in production form, will go on sale later this year.

Apart from these, Tata Motors will also have Safari Dark Edition concept, a Safari-based safety demonstrator, the recently launched Punch EV and the Nexon EV Dark (the facelift had yet to get this finish), making a total of eight vehicles on display from the Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle division.

Tiago, TIgor CNG AMT launch soon

As far as new launches go, the CNG-powered Tiago and Tigor AMT will go on sale in early February, making these models India’s first vehicles equipped with a CNG powertrain and an AMT automatic gearbox.
