Tata Nexon EV continues to get over Rs 2 lakh discount this month

Discounts on the Punch EV and Tiago EV are also similar to previous months

As part of its ‘2 Million SUV celebration’, Tata Motors has announced a Green Bonus on most of its EV portfolio, which is essentially a large cash discount that's carried over from last month.

Tata Nexon EV, Punch EV and Tiago EV buyers can avail this cash discount, and those opting for the MY2023 models will be offered an additional cash discount. Here’s how much you could save on your new Tata EV during this month.

Save up to Rs 2.05 lakh.

The top-spec Tata Nexon EV Empowered+ LR variants get discounts of up to Rs 1.80 lakh this month. Barring the entry-level Creative + MR variant, which is available with a Rs 20,000 discount, all other variants are available with discounts between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.2 lakh. All MY2023 models get an additional cash discount of Rs 25,000. The Nexon EV is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh and comes with two battery options – a 30kWh unit with 275km MIDC range and a 40.5kWh unit with 390km claimed range. Rivals include the Mahindra XUV400 and the soon-to-arrive MG Windsor.

Save up to Rs 65,000.

Tata’s most affordable EV – and MG Comet rival – gets benefits of Rs 50,000 on the XT long-range (LR) variant. Higher-spec LR variants get between Rs 25,000 and Rs 40,000 off, while MR variants are available with discounts of up to Rs 10,000. As with the Nexon EV, there’s an additional Rs 15,000 discount on MY2023 models. The all-electric hatchback is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 11.89 lakh, and has an MIDC-certified range of up to 275km with the 24kWh battery, and up to 221km with the 19.2kWh unit.

Save up to Rs 30,000

Tata’s answer to the Citroen eC3 gets discounts worth up to Rs 30,000, which is applicable on the Empowered variants with the 7.2kW fast charger, and all Long Range variants with the 3.3kW charger. Other variants get discounts of up to Rs 10,000. The Punch EV is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh-15.49 lakh, and comes with a 35kWh battery option (365km MIDC range) or a 25kWh unit with up to 265km range.
