Tata Motors To Increase Commercial Vehicle Prices By Up To 2.5% From July 1
Commercial vehicle prices will rise by up to 2.5% from July 1 amid higher input costs; passenger vehicle prices are also set to increase.
Tata Motors will increase prices across its commercial vehicle range by up to 2.5% from July 1, 2026, as the company seeks to partially offset the impact of rising commodity prices and other input costs. The increase will vary depending on the model and variant.
The price revision comes amid continued cost pressures across the automotive industry, with manufacturers facing higher raw material and operational expenses. Tata Motors said the increase is necessary to mitigate a portion of these rising costs while continuing to serve a broad range of commercial mobility applications.
The announcement follows a similar move by Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. (TMPV), which has said it will raise prices across its passenger vehicle portfolio by up to 1.5% from the same date. The revision will cover all models and variants, including both internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs).
TMPV attributed the passenger vehicle price increase to mounting input costs and persistent inflationary pressures. The company said it had absorbed a substantial portion of these cost increases but would pass on part of the burden to customers. As with the commercial vehicle business, the extent of the increase will vary depending on the model and variant.
Customers looking to purchase Tata Motors commercial vehicles or passenger vehicles at current prices will have until June 30 before the revised pricing comes into effect.
