Tata Motors Launches Ace Gold+ Diesel Mini-Truck at Rs 5.52 Lakh

Tata Motors launched the Ace Gold+ diesel mini-truck on Thursday at Rs 5.52 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as the most affordable diesel variant in its Ace range. The vehicle targets value-conscious entrepreneurs with its lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) proposition in the category.

The Ace Gold+ incorporates Lean NOx Trap (LNT) technology that eliminates the requirement for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), reducing maintenance and operating costs while ensuring emission norm compliance.

"Since its launch over two decades ago, the Tata Ace has consistently transformed last-mile mobility across India, empowering hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs to drive progress. With every upgrade, it has evolved to incorporate advanced technologies, versatile features, and broader applications. The launch of the Ace Gold+ continues this legacy—delivering a solution that simplifies business operations, enhances profitability, and reinforces our commitment to nurturing India's entrepreneurial spirit," said Pinaki Haldar, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles.

The vehicle features a turbocharged Dicor engine generating 22PS power and 55Nm torque. It offers a payload capacity of 900kg with multiple load deck configurations.

Tata Motors' small commercial vehicle portfolio includes the Ace Pro, Ace, Intra, and Yodha models, covering payloads from 750kg to 2-tonne. The range offers diesel, petrol, CNG, bi-fuel, and electric powertrains.

The company provides lifecycle support through its Sampoorna Seva 2.0 programme, which includes AMC packages, genuine spare parts, and 24x7 roadside assistance. The service network comprises 2,500 outlets nationwide with trained technicians under the Star Guru ecosystem.

Tata Motors is part of the USD 180 billion Tata group and operates as a USD 52 billion organization. The company leads India's commercial vehicle market and ranks among the top three in passenger vehicles.
