Tata Motors launched the new Ace Gold+ XL small commercial vehicle on May 5, 2026, to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the Ace nameplate. The manufacturer also introduced a nationwide promotional campaign alongside the vehicle's release.

The new Ace Gold+ XL is equipped with an extended eight foot load body and offers a maximum payload capacity of one tonne. It is powered by a 700cc turbocharged diesel engine that generates 22 PS of maximum power and 55 Nm of torque. The powertrain utilizes Lean NOx Trap technology, which eliminates the requirement for Diesel Exhaust Fluid, a design change intended to reduce operating complexity and maintenance efforts for owners.

Coinciding with the product launch, Tata Motors initiated the 'Ikkis Saal Bemisaal' campaign. As part of this customer initiative, the company is offering additional benefits of up to Rs 21,000 specifically for women entrepreneurs. Pinaki Haldar, Vice President and Business Head of SCVPU at Tata Motors, stated that the new variant is engineered to meet modern last mile logistics needs and extend the vehicle's capability into higher load applications.
