Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. announced the launch of a new variant of its Harrier.ev electric SUV on Friday, adding the Fearless+ QWD 75 to the vehicle's existing lineup at a starting price of ₹26.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new variant is built on Tata's acti.ev+ pure electric architecture and features a dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive system. The company states the configuration produces 504 Nm of torque and a 0–100 kmph acceleration time of 6.3 seconds. The vehicle also includes six terrain modes, Off-Road Assist, and a Boost Mode.
On the interior, the Fearless+ QWD 75 is equipped with six-way powered driver seats with memory function, four-way powered co-driver seats, front ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a JBL 10-speaker audio system, R19 alloy wheels, and voice-assisted dual-zone automatic climate control.
Tata Motors is offering an unlimited lifetime battery warranty with the variant — defined under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 as a period of fifteen years from the first date of registration for the original owner. The vehicle holds a 5-star Bharat-NCAP safety rating.
Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, noted that over 13,000 Harrier.ev units have been delivered in the six months since the model's launch, with customers collectively covering more than 100 million kilometres.
Alongside the new variant, Tata Motors also announced a new exterior colour option — Seaweed Green — which will be available across all Harrier.ev personas, bringing the total colour choices available to buyers.
The Harrier.ev is now offered across seven variants, ranging from the Adventure 65 at ₹21.49 lakh to the top-spec Empowered+ 75 at ₹28.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom and exclude the cost of an AC fast charger, which is available as an optional add-on for ₹49,000.
