Tata AutoComp Showcases EV And Commercial Vehicle Solutions At IAA Transportation 2026

Tata AutoComp Systems is showcasing commercial vehicle components and mobility solutions at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany, with its display focused on electrification, thermal management, lightweighting and supply chain services.

The event is being held from September 15-20, with Tata AutoComp’s exhibit inaugurated by Jaykumar Chuttar, CVCPO, Tata Motors, and Brennan Gourdie, CPO, PACCAR. The company is presenting products and capabilities across four technology verticals: Electricals & EV, Interior & Exterior, Thermal, and Services.

Tata AutoComp said its commercial vehicle-focused EV portfolio at the show includes battery packs, traction motors, battery cooling systems, electric compressors, power electronics, battery thermal management systems (BTMS), busbars and chargers. The company is also displaying its in-house design and manufacturing capabilities.

The thermal management display includes engine cooling solutions, CVTMS, BTMS and HVAC systems. In the Interior & Exterior segment, the company is displaying composite components, steel replacements and heavy-duty plastic interior parts as part of its lightweighting portfolio.

Its Supply Chain division is displaying transmission parts, ratchet tie-down products, and cargo management and towing products. Tata AutoComp said the division provides manufacturing and supply chain services to global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers, covering processes from RFQ management through delivery of components.

Dr Arvind Goel, Vice Chairman, Tata AutoComp Systems, said the commercial vehicle sector is being shaped by electrification, tighter emissions regulations and demand for lighter and more sustainable solutions. He added that the company is using its Artifex Engineering Centre and relationships with global OEMs to provide engineering and mobility solutions alongside vehicle manufacturers.

Tata AutoComp operates 22 business units, including 11 joint ventures with international automotive component manufacturers, and has 74 manufacturing facilities across India, North America, Latin America, Europe and China. The company has more than 20,000 employees.

Its wider portfolio covers EV components such as battery packs, battery management and cooling systems, traction motors, power electronics, integrated drivetrains and chargers, alongside interior and exterior systems, HVAC, engine cooling, ADAS, emission control systems, body and suspension components, composites and supply chain services.

Manoj Kolhatkar, Managing Director and CEO, Tata AutoComp Systems, said the company is focusing on supplying its solutions to European OEMs while responding to changing requirements in the region's automotive market.
