Suzuki has showcased Vision e-Sky concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, previewing what is likely to evolve into its next-generation urban electric hatchback for the domestic market. The new concept embodies Suzuki’s fresh “Unique, Smart, Positive” design philosophy, which focuses on youthful styling, compact efficiency, and sustainable mobility.

Suzuki has showcased Vision e-Sky concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, previewing what is likely to evolve into its next-generation urban electric hatchback for the domestic market. The new concept embodies Suzuki’s fresh “Unique, Smart, Positive” design philosophy, which focuses on youthful styling, compact efficiency, and sustainable mobility.
The Vision e-Sky is a born-electric concept designed within Japan’s kei car regulations, measuring 3,395mm in length, 1,475mm in width, and 1,625mm in height. This makes it slightly taller than the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, although shorter and narrower overall. The upright stance, short overhangs, and flat nose and tail give it a practical, space-efficient silhouette typical of Suzuki’s urban cars.
Visually, the Vision e-Sky adopts a clean, futuristic aesthetic. The front end is defined by a multi-array LED light bar that runs across the fascia, flanked by C-shaped DRLs and the main headlights. Below this sits a secondary slatted LED pattern that extends into the air dam, giving the car a layered and high-tech look. The chunky C-pillar appears to float between the roof and the main body, while details like flush door handles, aerodynamic wing mirrors, and a subtle roof spoiler with an integrated LED brake light complete the contemporary styling.
Suzuki’s official renderings show a two-tone exterior with a contrasting white roof and blacked-out pillars, as well as aero-optimised alloy wheels and subtly flared arches that lend the compact EV a purposeful stance.
Inside, the Vision e-Sky’s cabin looks surprisingly close to production. The floating dashboard and wraparound design create a sense of spaciousness, while LED light strips add ambient flair. The dual-screen setup includes a digital driver display that shows key information like range, charge level, and speed, and a secondary display for infotainment and HVAC controls.
The three-spoke, squircle-shaped steering wheel integrates multi-function buttons within a gloss-black frame, and the dash-mounted drive selector ensures a clutter-free floor area. Suzuki even added some playful concept touches — such as a potted plant on the far edge of the dash — though such details are unlikely to reach production.
Suzuki has confirmed that the Vision e-Sky previews a production EV due in FY2026. The model will reportedly use a 20–25kWh battery pack, targeting a range of up to 270km, an improvement over the 230km claimed by the earlier Concept EWX from 2023. The focus, as always with Suzuki’s kei offerings, will be on efficiency, affordability, and everyday usability.
Suzuki has confirmed that the production version of the Vision E-Sky will debut in FY2026, underlining how close the concept is to reality and we expect the car to go on sale in Japan initially. For India, Maruti Suzuki is preparing a broader electrification push — with four new EVs due by 2030, alongside plans to introduce strong-hybrid powertrains for its mass-market models. The company’s first electric vehicle, the eVitara, is already in mass production at its Gujarat facility and is being exported to many markets currently. An India launch is expected for the eVitara in the coming months.
