Suzuki Motorcycle India Sales Up 6% to 120,611 Units in August 2026

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, sold 120,611 units in India in August 2026, registering a 6% year-on-year growth over 113,936 units sold in August 2025, the Gurugram-based company announced on September 1, 2026.

Domestic sales stood at 103,118 units in August 2026, up 13% from 91,629 units in the same month last year. Export sales, however, declined to 17,493 units from 22,307 units in August 2025.

SMIPL's spare parts business recorded revenue of INR 1,033 million in August 2026, its highest ever for the month, marking a 21% growth over INR 855.6 million in August 2025.

Commenting on the sales performance, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, SMIPL, said, “We are grateful for the continued support of our customers, dealer partners and suppliers. As we move into the festive season, our focus remains on making the Suzuki ownership journey more engaging and rewarding, while staying connected with our customers at every stage of their association with the brand.”

Among the company's activities in August 2026, SMIPL inaugurated India's first "Suzuki Lounge" in Thane, an integrated service and customer experience outlet. In Jammu, the Burgman Hangout Parade brought together Burgman and Avenis owners for a community ride. The Suzuki Access Mileage Contest was held in Agra, while the GIXXER PitStop covered Vadodara, Trichy, Jaipur and Madurai.

SMIPL began its India operations in February 2006 from its manufacturing plant at Kherki Daula, Gurugram, Haryana. The company manufactures scooters (125cc), premium motorcycles (150cc and above) and big bikes for the Indian market.
