Suzuki Motorcycle India Launches 2025 OBD-2B Compliant Hayabusa with New Colour Options
The new Hayabusa retains its 1,340 cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has introduced the 2025 edition of its flagship motorcycle, the Suzuki Hayabusa. The updated model features compliance with OBD-2B emission norms and is offered in three new dual-tone colour combinations: Metallic Mat Steel Green/Glass Sparkle Black, Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Mat Titanium Silver, and Metallic Mystic Silver/Pearl Vigor Blue.
The motorcycle is priced at ₹16,90,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available across all Suzuki Bike Zones in India.
The new Hayabusa retains its 1,340 cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. The engine is designed for strong torque and smooth power delivery. Lightweight components such as the crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods help reduce internal vibration and increase engine durability. The exhaust note is tuned for a powerful sound at startup without being intrusive.
Performance-enhancing features include Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) ducts, which improve airflow at higher speeds, and a Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber (TSCC) for efficient fuel combustion. The motorcycle is equipped with KYB inverted front forks, BATTLAX HYPERSPORTS 22 tyres, and Brembo Stylema four-piston front brake calipers for improved ride control.
Advanced electronics on the Hayabusa include Power Mode Selector, Launch Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Cruise Control, and Motion Track Traction Control. Additional features include Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist, LED lighting, and systems that aid in braking, stability, and traction.
Commenting on the launch, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, said the Hayabusa continues to be a popular model among motorcycle enthusiasts. The updates aim to align the model with current regulations while maintaining its established performance standards.
