Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) held its Gixxer Pit Stop event in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on June 20, 2026, as part of the company's ongoing efforts to engage directly with motorcycle enthusiasts on the ground.
The event, held at the GP1 Racetrack and Arena 53 Track in the city, saw participation from more than 80 riders. Attendees were given the opportunity to test ride motorcycles from the Gixxer series and connect with other members of the local Suzuki riding community.
The Gixxer series, which forms the centrepiece of the event, has set national endurance records in India, covering 2,802.3 km on the 150cc variant and 3,259.0 km on the 250cc variant within 24 hours. The company has positioned the series around engine performance, durability, ride comfort, low-speed handling and build quality.
Participants at the Bengaluru event tested the bikes' handling, braking and acceleration both on the track and in real-world riding conditions. Beyond the test rides, the event included a workshop on safe riding techniques for wet weather, aimed at preparing riders for the monsoon season, along with sessions where attendees could speak with influencers and experienced riders about their ownership experiences.
Participants also received complimentary rain covers for helmets and discount vouchers for Suzuki Genuine Accessories. The Gixxer series is currently available at Suzuki dealerships across India with a retail finance scheme and an additional gift offer, both subject to terms and conditions.
SMIPL, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, began operations in India in February 2006 from its manufacturing facility in Kherki Daula, Gurugram, Haryana. The company's product range includes scooters, an electric scooter, and premium motorcycles of 150cc and above, including big bikes.
