Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) announced on Monday a strategic partnership with Royal Brothers Rentals to make its two-wheelers available through flexible rental and subscription formats, beginning with the Suzuki e-ACCESS electric scooter.

Under the arrangement, customers can rent the Suzuki e-ACCESS for periods ranging from 24 hours to 12 months through Royal Brothers Rentals' platform. The service is designed to give riders access to the electric scooter without a long-term ownership commitment, offering what both companies describe as a "try before you buy" experience.

The program will be available in seven cities in its initial phase: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, and Gurugram. The companies said the initiative is intended to broaden access to electric mobility while catering to users who prefer flexible usage over outright purchase.

Deepak Mutreja, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, said the collaboration reflects shifts in consumer preferences toward flexible mobility. "Customers today seek flexibility and real-world experience before making long-term commitments," Mutreja said in a statement.

Abhishek Chandrashekar, Co-Founder and CEO of Royal Brothers Rentals, said the tie-up combines Suzuki's product engineering with the company's rental network. Royal Brothers Rentals operates as one of India's two-wheeler rental platforms and has previously focused on petrol-powered vehicles.

SMIPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan, has operated in India since 2006. The company manufactures two-wheelers at its Gurugram facility in Haryana, with an annual production capacity of 1.3 million units. The company said it plans to expand the rental and subscription model to additional Suzuki models beyond the e-ACCESS in subsequent phases.
