Subros recorded a 9.6 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 44.64 crore for Q2 FY27, compared to Rs 40.74 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Sequentially, consolidated net profit rose 7.5 percent from Rs 41.52 crore recorded in Q1 FY27. The profit expansion was anchored by higher production volumes and sales in its primary thermal products division, which offset an increase in input material expenses over the quarter.

Consolidated revenue from operations for Q2 FY27 reached Rs 1,198.90 crore, up 36.3 percent year-on-year from Rs 879.83 crore in Q2 FY26, and expanded 16.2 percent sequentially from Rs 1,032.11 crore in the preceding quarter.

Total consolidated expenses grew 35.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,146.32 crore against Rs 844.85 crore in Q2 FY26, driven by a 44.1 percent surge in raw material costs to Rs 914.75 crore from Rs 635.02 crore. Sequentially, total expenses increased 16.7 percent compared to Rs 982.71 crore in Q1 FY27.

On a standalone basis, Subros registered a revenue from operations of Rs 1,198.90 crore and a net profit after tax of Rs 44.62 crore for Q2 FY27, compared to Rs 879.83 crore and Rs 40.59 crore respectively in the year-ago quarter.
