Studds Accessories Ltd., one of India's largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturers, has expanded its licensed product portfolio with the launch of the Trooper Legacy Shield — a new decal edition of its Trooper modular helmet developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) as part of the brand's DC Superheroes range.

The helmet carries a Superman-centred graphic language across three zones: a large-format "S" shield on the upper rear shell, the "SUPERMAN" wordmark on the crown, and a "GREATEST DEFENDER" inscription on the chin bar. Available in gloss and matte finishes, the range spans five colour options — Black & White, Black & Grey, Black & Red, and two Metallic Foil variants in Teal and Red that use foil in graphic zones rather than standard paint.

The Trooper Legacy Shield retains the flip-up, full-face design of the existing Trooper model, allowing riders to raise the chin bar during short stops while maintaining full-coverage protection during rides. The outer shell is constructed from high-impact ABS with a regulated density EPS liner. The helmet holds both ISI (BIS) and DOT certifications, addressing standards set by the Bureau of Indian Standards and the US Department of Transportation respectively.

Additional features include a quick-release scratch-resistant visor, a hypoallergenic and replaceable inner liner, a removable lower trim, a stainless-steel rust-proof chin strap buckle, and a UV-resistant paint finish intended to preserve graphic integrity over the helmet's lifespan.

The Trooper Legacy Shield is priced at ₹2,425 (MRP, inclusive of all taxes) and is available in Medium, Large, and Extra-Large sizes. It can be purchased through Studds' offline retail network, exclusive brand stores, and the official website at shop.studds.com. Studds, which reported sales of approximately 7.10 million helmets in fiscal 2024, markets its products in more than 70 countries under the Studds and SMK brands.
