Stellantis India Restructures Leadership Roles to Support Brand Expansion and Growth

The company has revised its senior leadership structure to streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and prepare for the India launch of Leapmotor alongside strengthening the Citroën and Jeep brands.

Stellantis India has announced a strategic reorganisation of its senior leadership roles, aiming to support business growth and improve operational efficiency. The realignment is designed to better align leadership responsibilities with long-term goals as the company prepares to expand its brand portfolio in India.

As part of the restructuring, Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director – Automotive Brands, will take charge of the retail business operations. His new role includes managing sales and network development for Jeep, Citroën, and the soon-to-be-launched Leapmotor brand.

Shishir Mishra, Business Head and Director – Strategic Partnerships and Institutional Business, will lead initiatives related to institutional sales, strategic partnerships, mobility services, pre-owned vehicle operations, and finance and insurance solutions across the brands.

Shailesh Hazela will continue to serve as CEO and Managing Director of Stellantis India. He will focus on overseeing the company’s overall strategy in the country, ensuring alignment with global priorities while addressing local market needs.

The leadership changes are intended to support Stellantis India’s operational goals and prepare the company for future growth in one of its key global markets.
