Aluminium and Commercial Vehicle Segments Record Highest-Ever Monthly Sales

The commercial vehicle (CV) segment also registered its highest-ever monthly sales. Segment sales value increased 53% year on year, while volumes grew 41%, supported by freight movement, fleet utilisation and industrial activity.
Passenger car steel wheel sales increased 40% by value and 24% by volume during the month. The company attributed the segment's performance to OEM offtake ahead of the festive season.
Exports and Two-Wheeler Segments Post Growth
SSWL's exports recorded a 179% year-on-year increase in sales value and 106% growth in volumes in October, which the company attributed to demand across international OEM contracts.
The two- and three-wheeler segment, including electric vehicle applications, reported 89% growth in sales value and 54% growth in volumes. The company cited increased adoption of electric two-wheelers and higher dispatch volumes as factors supporting the segment.
