Spark Minda Posts Record FY26, Expands EV Technology Push
The automotive component maker reported its highest-ever annual revenue in FY26, while strengthening its EV and advanced electronics roadmap through new technology partnerships with Japan’s Toyodenso and UK-based Turntide Technologies.
Spark Minda reported its highest-ever annual revenue and operating profit for FY26, supported by strong demand across vehicle segments and a growing focus on premium automotive technologies.
The company posted consolidated revenue of ₹6,185 crore in FY26, up 22.3% year-on-year, while EBITDA rose 25.5% to ₹721 crore with margins improving to 11.7%. Profit after tax increased 40.3% year-on-year to ₹358 crore.
For the March quarter, revenue rose 29% year-on-year to ₹1,704 crore, while quarterly EBITDA stood at ₹203 crore with margins of 11.9%. PAT for the quarter came in at ₹124 crore.
Alongside its financial performance, the company also strengthened its global technology roadmap through two strategic partnerships announced during FY26. Spark Minda formed a joint venture with Japan’s Toyodenso for advanced automotive switches and signed another joint venture with UK-based Turntide Technologies to introduce next-generation EV powertrain solutions for the Indian market.
The company said the partnerships are aimed at bringing advanced global technologies closer to India while supporting localisation and domestic supply-chain resilience under the government’s ‘Make in India’ push.
Commenting on the performance, Ashok Minda, Chairman and Group CEO, said FY2026 was marked by “consistent execution and steady progress”, despite a dynamic market environment. He added that demand remained strong particularly in the two-wheeler and commercial vehicle segments.
Spark Minda, through Minda Corporation, currently operates across mechatronics, information and connected systems, and plastic and interior solutions catering to two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and aftermarket applications.
