Spark Minda Elevates Ajay Agarwal to Group Chief Financial Officer
Automotive component manufacturer strengthens leadership team with the appointment of Agarwal as GCFO and Key Managerial Personnel, building on his contributions since joining as President of Finance and Strategy in May.
Spark Minda, Minda Corporation Limited has appointed Ajay Agarwal as Group Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective February 5, 2026. The move represents a leadership enhancement for the automotive component manufacturer as it pursues its next phase of growth.
Agarwal will maintain his existing responsibilities while assuming the additional GCFO role. His portfolio includes oversight of financial strategy and governance, alongside leadership of cross-functional initiatives in strategic growth, digital transformation, and investor relations.
The appointment follows Agarwal's tenure as President of Finance and Strategy since joining the company in May 2026. During this period, he has contributed to strengthening financial performance, optimizing capital allocation, and driving operational efficiencies.
A qualified Chartered Accountant and Lawyer, Agarwal brings over 20 years of experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. His career includes senior positions across large organizations, where he has focused on financial management and transformation initiatives.
Before joining Spark Minda, Agarwal served as President of Finance and Strategy at Vedanta Limited, where he led financial strategy and transformation projects. His professional background also includes roles with KPMG and PwC.
